Who I Am:     Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jay McElroy and I have been working as a professional mobile DJ for almost 13 years. I have worked a wide variety of events from intimate weddings with 50 guests to corporate events with upwards of 5000.  By day, I am an English teacher at Fresno High School. When I moved to Fresno about 5 years ago, I had no intention of DJing anymore. I was hosting Friday night karaoke at Sierra Lanes Bowling Alley when a couple there asked me if I might be willing to DJ their wedding. I realized then that I really missed the opportunities I had been given to meet and work with some really cool people and help them plan and bring to realization some truly memorable moments in their lives.  I decided to start Life of the Party Mobile DJ Service here in Fresno.  I went out that next week and purchased the equipment I knew I would need to do the job right; including a top of the line DJ system, high quality speakers, and some really great lighting. I've never once regretted that decision, and I have a whole new list of awesome clients that have allowed me the priviledge of working with them to make the most of their events. I believe that when you plan your big event, what you need is someone with experience to help you turn it into something that you, your family, and your freinds will never forget!
